On March 31 in Wembley, north-west London, a 70-year-old man was severely injured during a robbery at an ATM on Ealing Road. The elderly man suffered a fractured skull, loss of hearing in one ear, and mobility issues that have impeded his ability to work following the assault.
The Metropolitan Police have released CCTV footage of the incident, which depicts a man and a woman involved in the attack. The male suspect reportedly assaulted the victim from behind, causing him to lose consciousness and fall to the ground. During this time, the female suspect withdrew money from the ATM.
The police are seeking assistance in identifying the suspects, described as a woman in a fur hoodie and camouflage trousers, and a man with a dark beard, wearing a hooded jacket. Detective Sergeant Muhamed Ahmed of the Metropolitan Police highlighted the premeditated nature of the attack and has called on the public to come forward with any information that might lead to the identification and arrest of the suspects.
