The incident occurred on the night of Saturday, May 5th, 2024, when, under alleged coercion from her husband, Savitri threw her son into the Kali river. The boy’s body, bearing severe injuries and missing a right arm, was discovered the following morning, entangled in the jaws of a crocodile.
