Prince Harry has made a return to the UK for the first time since his visit in February when he met with King Charles following the King’s cancer diagnosis. During his current trip, he is participating in an Invictus Games event in London. The Invictus Games, an initiative founded by Harry in 2014, support wounded, injured, and sick service personnel.

On this trip, Prince Harry, who traveled without his wife Meghan and their children, will not be staying at Buckingham Palace but at a London hotel. This follows his step back from being a working royal in 2020, after which he also gave up Frogmore Cottage. Despite being in the UK, there are no planned meetings with his father, King Charles, who is currently fully booked, or with other immediate family members including his brother, Prince William.

Following the UK event, Prince Harry will travel to Nigeria to continue the Invictus Games celebrations, where he will be joined by Meghan. This current trip marks Harry’s first UK visit since the disclosed medical condition of King Charles. In the context of his visit, Harry has been observed exhibiting both confident and conflicted body language, according to body language expert Judi James.

In related news, a recent US poll shows Meghan Markle’s popularity at 36%, matching that of King Charles III, albeit both saw a decline in their previous ratings. Prince William maintains a higher favorability at 40%, while Kate Middleton leads with a 45% approval rating.

In recognition of the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, a special ceremony is scheduled at St Paul’s Cathedral. The contribution of Prince William and Princess Kate in the initial establishment of the Games alongside Harry has been highlighted, though they are not expected to attend the ceremony.
