On Thursday at Legoland Windsor Resort, a five-month-old baby boy suffered a cardiac arrest and remains in critical condition in a hospital. Following the incident, a 27-year-old woman from Witham, Essex, was arrested on suspicion of child neglect which led to serious injury. The arrest occurred at the theme park shortly after the event.

Detective Constable Zoe Eele, from Thames Valley Police’s child abuse investigation unit, confirmed the situation and mentioned that the baby was still receiving medical care. The woman arrested has since been released on police bail until July 26.

Authorities are specifically calling on witnesses who were near the Coastguard HQ boat ride between 11:30 am and 12:45 pm on the day of the incident to come forward with any relevant information that might aid the ongoing investigation. Thames Valley Police have stated that they are not looking for any additional suspects related to this case.

The police are actively working with Legoland Windsor Resort, which has been cooperative with the investigation process. Members of the public with information are encouraged to contact the authorities or can anonymously report to Crimestoppers.
