On a recent day in London, a harrowing incident occurred involving horses from the Household Cavalry, captured on video and spreading across social media platforms. In the footage, several riderless horses, one markedly covered in blood, were seen galloping frantically through the streets after being spooked. The event took place near Buckingham Palace Road during a standard training maneuver on the Horse Guards Parade in Whitehall.

The situation escalated when one of the horses collided with a car, resulting in a soldier being dismounted and reportedly left in severe pain. This prompted onlookers to alert the police. Subsequently, City of London Police managed to secure two of the loose horses in Limehouse, while others were rounded up for return to their base in Army horseboxes.

An Army spokesperson later confirmed that the incident resulted in injuries to several troops and horses. Medical attention was being provided to those affected. The incident has raised questions about the safety of conducting animal-based military exercises in densely populated urban areas.
