The grizzly findings and subsequent murder investigation into the death of Stuart Everett has cast a shadow over Salford, with two suspects currently in custody awaiting trial.
Stuart Everett, 67, was found deceased at Kersal Dale Nature Reserve in Salford. Subsequent discoveries of further body parts occurred near a railway in Eccles, Linnyshaw Colliery Woods, and Blackleach Reservoir. Everett, known for his social and family-oriented nature, love for food, gardening, music, and horse racing, was deeply mourned by his family and community.
The findings initiated a murder investigation, resulting in the arrest and charging of two men, Michal Jaroslaw Polchowski, 68, and Marcin Majerkiewicz, 42. They were remanded in custody after appearing at Tameside Magistrates’ Court, with a trial set for March 2025.
