A 57-year-old man from Crewe has been issued a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) due to his persistent anti-social behaviour in the area. Stephen Taylor, residing on Coleridge Way, has now been banned from street drinking and entering designated convenience stores in Crewe. The order, which spans a duration of three years, specifically prohibits Taylor from accessing the Grand Junction Retail Park and Crewe town centre.

In addition to these location-based restrictions, the CBO also forbids Taylor from being intoxicated in public spaces and from possessing open containers of alcohol or consuming alcohol in public areas. These measures have been put in place following numerous complaints about Taylor’s disruptive conduct, which has reportedly affected both visitors and staff in the vicinity.

PC Justin Taylor stated, “Taylor was causing issues for visitors and staff alike with his repeated anti-social behaviour. With the help of staff and residents affected by his behaviour, we were able to take action by building up enough evidence to obtain the order.” He also made it clear that if Taylor is found breaching these restrictions, he could face imprisonment.

The enforcement of this order reflects an ongoing effort by local police to address anti-social behaviour in the community. Officers encourage anyone who witnesses Taylor violating the terms of the CBO to report the incident by contacting Cheshire Police or anonymous reporting services.

These developments come amid increasing concerns about public order and the impact of individual behaviour on local communities. The initiative to impose a CBO is part of broader measures aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and visitors in Crewe.
