David Knezevich, a 36-year-old Florida man, has been arrested and charged in connection with the disappearance of his wife, Ana Knezevich, who went missing in Spain earlier this year. Following his arrival from Serbia, he was taken into custody at Miami International Airport. The arrest was facilitated by a collaborative FBI-led investigation involving Spanish, Colombian, and Serbian authorities.

Ana, 40, had moved to Spain in December amidst ongoing divorce proceedings with David. She was last seen in her Madrid apartment, from which suspicious activity was recorded. Surveillance footage captured a man, believed to be David, tampering with security cameras while wearing a black motorcycle helmet.

Further inquiries revealed that David was allegedly in Serbia on the day Ana disappeared, utilizing a rented car with stolen plates. Despite his denials and refusal to take a lie detector test, evidence suggesting his involvement includes his interactions with another woman and doubtful text messages purportedly sent by Ana to her friends and family after she went missing.

The case continues to develop as more details emerge, with the FBI presenting substantial evidence linking David to the disappearance. The multinational investigation seeks to resolve the numerous uncertainties surrounding the troubling case.
