Four men have been charged following the discovery of approximately 500kg of cocaine, valued at about £40 million, in a van parked in a village pub car park in Lelley, East Yorkshire. The National Crime Agency announced the significant drug bust and identified the suspects as Anthony McAllister, Daniel Livingstone, and Mark Moran from Argyll and Bute, along with Colombian national Didier Javier Tordecilla Reyes. All are accused of the importation of class A drugs.
The arrests occurred over a recent weekend, and the charged individuals are expected to appear at Hull Magistrates’ Court shortly. The incident underscores ongoing efforts by law enforcement to address drug trafficking and organized crime within the UK.
