Christian Dumontet, the spouse of Netflix’s ‘Selling Sunset’ celebrity Christine Quinn, faces serious charges including child abuse and assault following a disturbing incident in Los Angeles.
Christian Dumontet, the husband of Christine Quinn, a star of the Netflix series “Selling Sunset,” has been charged with assault and child abuse in Los Angeles. The charges include child abuse/endangerment, assault, and violation of a protection order, following an incident in March where Dumontet allegedly assaulted a toddler with a glass bottle. The couple, who celebrated their wedding in December 2019 on the show, legally married in June 2021 and have a two-year-old son.
Following the incident, Dumontet was taken into custody. Quinn’s attorney, Jacqueline Sparagna, expressed approval of the charges, emphasizing the significance of protecting the victims involved. Amid these developments, Dumontet has filed for divorce from Quinn, citing irreconcilable differences and seeking custody of their son.
The charges against Dumontet have brought attention to issues of domestic abuse, with organisations such as the national domestic abuse helpline and Refuge providing support for those affected.
