In separate incidents, a London masseur has been convicted of sexual assault and voyeurism, while an Australian detective is currently on trial for allegedly raping a young woman at a police station.
Yuliyan Dimov, a 45-year-old masseur in London, was convicted at Wood Green Crown Court for sexual assault and voyeurism charges against ten female clients. The charges were filed after one victim reported being assaulted in her home, which prompted a further investigation by the Metropolitan Police. This led to the discovery of over 30 unauthorized photos of women on Dimov’s phone. He was found guilty on multiple counts of voyeurism, attempted voyeurism, and sexual assault, with sentencing scheduled for June 28.
In a separate case, Detective Glen Coleman faced charges in the Penrith district court, New South Wales, for allegedly raping a 19-year-old woman at the Windsor police station in western Sydney. The victim had initially visited the station to report a crime. The prosecution accused Coleman of using his position to pursue a sexual relationship with her, offering money for sexual acts, and non-consensually touching her. DNA evidence has been presented linking him to the assaults. Coleman has denied the charges, insisting that any sexual activity was consensual. The trial continues, with the victim testifying via video link.
