Queen Camilla recently took a discreet vacation to a luxury estate in Ciudad Real, just south of Madrid, Spain. Opting for a short retreat amidst her temporary leadership of the Royal Family due to King Charles’s health issues, she stayed at a finca known to be a hotspot for Spanish aristocracy. During her visit, Queen Camilla engaged in partridge hunting, a pastime the estate is renowned for.

This Spanish estate is in proximity to La Garganta, owned by the Duke of Westminster, a familial friend to Prince William, the Prince of Wales, and Prince Harry. The Duke of Westminster is not only one of the wealthiest individuals in the UK but also serves as the godfather to Prince George.

Following her brief hiatus, Queen Camilla was back to fulfill her royal commitments, notably attending the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey. At this event, King Charles, unable to attend in person due to his illness, connected via video link to acknowledge the support he received during his health ordeal and to underline his dedication to the Commonwealth’s unity and welfare.

The Buckingham Palace has chosen not to release statements regarding Queen Camilla’s private vacation.
