Amidst this heated exchange, a security guard was shot in a drive-by incident outside Drake’s Toronto mansion, closely followed by an attempted break-in. The shooting occurred just one day prior to the attempted intrusion, which took place around 2 pm. Toronto Police Service responded to the event, detaining the intruder under Canada’s Mental Health Act.

The shooting left the security guard seriously injured, with the assailant fleeing the scene. Investigations into both incidents are currently underway with cooperation from Drake’s team, though it is unclear whether Drake was present during the incidents. The relationship between the ongoing feud and these violent occurrences has not been established clearly, and representatives for both Drake and Lamar have yet to comment.
