Three bodies have been found in La Bocana, Mexico, during the search for missing tourists who vanished nearly a week prior. Australian brothers Jake and Callum Robinson, along with their American friend Carter Rhoad, did not reach their intended accommodation in Baja California after starting a road trip. The search concluded with the discovery of three bodies in a region known for outdoor activities including fishing and camping.

Subsequent to the discovery, authorities in Baja California detained three suspects linked to the incident. The area, while popular with tourists, is also noted for activities related to cartel violence.

The Robinson brothers had traveled from California, and according to their family, they were moving towards Ensenada, Mexico. Their vehicle was later found destroyed by fire, and their camping gear was abandoned. Both the respective families of the young men and the Australian and US governments are actively involved in the ongoing investigation, with further details anticipated from the Baja California attorney general.
